Lessons for the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills
These lesson are designed to meet the TEKS that were adopted in 2021 in 6th-8th grades. They are set up for use in a science notebook the size of a composition book for a 90 minute block.
New Lesson Format
Although many of the lessons are the same, they have been arranged in the 5E model and placed in the new grade.
I will keep the old lessons on the website until the end of the school year in June. They may be found under the More dropdown box. Please download anything you want to keep.
Live Links and Exit Tickets
The lessons have live links within the directions for the lessons to access videos and other science websites. There is an Exit Ticket for each lesson. All documents are uploaded in the pdf format so they will print correctly.
6th grade is finished and I am working on 7th grade at this time. The units will be uploaded as I complete them.
Answer Documents
There are answer documents available for TEACHERS. Since many teachers send their students to this website, they are not available here. TEACHERS please send me a request for the grade and unit that you would like. If you do not see the files you requested in a day or so, they may have been blocked by your school district. If this has happened, please send the request from a personal email.
STUDENTS your school district will not permit any email from this website. Please don't ask for the answer documents.

The small boxes at the top of each page are for page numbers. I encourage you to number the pages before printing. It will save your sanity!
